When shopping for their kids, parents like to choose products that are naturally healthy from brands with trusted reputations. Kids just want to have fun. Our job was to satisfy both audiences with a distinctive identity for the launch of Tropicana’s new Kids Smoothies range. Taking the brand from its expected place at the breakfast table into the playground and beyond.
Kids are naturally curious and love figuring out how things work. So, we took that universal truth and used it as inspiration for our creative approach. Our eccentric and inventive fruit machine design showed off the goodness in natural ingredients and celebrated the pressing process to make drinking well, feel fun.
Our outer cartons were designed to catch parents' eyes, being both recognisably and reassuringly made by Tropicana. We made the drink ‘wedges’ themselves as kid friendly as possible to ensure playground showing-off points. Keeping everyone happy helped Tropicana deliver on their brand purpose: 'Nourish and delight one sip at a time'.
